We have been made aware of the existence of "rogue invasive software" infecting individuals’ connected devices, locking the platform and demanding financial settlement to unlock.

The name of the application varies but anecdotally appears to be a corruption/appropriation of our domain name URL: Piracysniper.
WE HAVE NO CONNECTION WITH THIS ACTIVITY AND HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO LOCATE ITS SOURCE.

AS SUCH WE SUGGEST THAT THOSE INDIVIDUALS AFFECTED, TRACK THE MALICIOUS "SOFTWARE/MALWARE" BACK TO SOURCE, IN ORDER TO SEEK RESOLUTION OF THEIR SITUATIONS.
As a result of the reputational damage this malicious activity is causing us, together with the increasing numbers of threatening emails we are receiving from aggrieved victims of this "software"/"malware".

We have removed our website and replaced it with this advisory message.
